Rescued Photos is a project created by Juan Galán, a photographer who collects vintage cameras. Inside some of these cameras, he found exposed and undeveloped film. After developing several rolls he decided to start a long term project, simply by developing the rolls he finds or ones that are donated.
We don’t publish rescued pictures with extremely private content or ones that might be offensive, in fact, we would love to find the owners of some of these pictures, and give their forgotten memories back.
